We have had Sunny for 1 month and we are just loving him.He has adjusted to haveing an older sister,Candy,so well. They play and sleep and cuddle so well. It is hard to remember what our home was like before Sunny came to us.
Lenore and Don Miller have been wonderful to us and have become new friends.
Keep up the wonderful work you do to find homes for these beautiful,loving gifts from God.

Yorkie Day 2009 was magical! Thank you Save A Yorkie Rescue Wizards for all the work you do to give our dear Yorkies a safe haven and a second chance in life to find their "Forever Family." What you do everyday is magical and we look forward to 2010!
We met many of the families who now share their hearts and homes with the very dogs listed on this web page. So many amazing stories and most with picture perfect endings because the Save A Yorkie Rescue is hard at work every day. This is an awesome group that needs ongoing support from everyone.

We adopted Riley (aka Thumper) in January 2008. He brings our family so much happiness. He quickly became friends with Rocco, our other Yorkie. Thanks to SAYRescue for allowing us to adopt such a wonderful dog!

Many Thanks again to SAYR, Marilyn, Don, Kathy, Dave and Rita for assisting in the care of our new pup, SKIPPY! He joins REMY and JAMI the Yorkies, and KAI-LI the Elkhound. We are thrilled to have him and encourage all to watch "Dog Whisperer" with Cesar Millan for inspiration and guidance. Remember that we are the eyes and ears for those that cannot speak. Adopting Lillie is one of the best days of my life, Besides the birth of my boys.Lillies prior name was noel. I know she is happy as pie. Your organizationis one of the best I know. Heidi really went out of here way to accomadate the adoption. I live in PA and she live in New York. We sorta met in the middle. When I adopted lillie she had to have 7 teeth removed and needed some weight on her but all well worth the effort. She is my baby. she weighed 4 pounds when we got her and now weighs a wopping 7and a half. And house trained. She sleeps with me, and loves to dress up and go shopping with me, all and all Love is all I have to say.

Hi everyone. I adopted Pilgrim, now named Cruiser 2 weeks ago. He is doing great. He is getting along with my other 2 dogs wonderfully. He fits in more and more each day. I want to thank everyone at Save A Yorkie Rescue for all they do to help these wonderful dogs. Our family is truly blessed to have Cruiser as a member. Thanks again.
