Muffin, Muffin, sweet little Muffin! Her mommy got sick and she's now looking for a loving home. Although up to this point she's spent her life as an "only dog" with just her mommy as a companion, she seems to get along fairly well with her small foster brothers. We're not sure about larger dogs since she's never met one. Nor has she ever met a cat! We were told that she was peepad trained and she is indeed doing very well with it. She came to us “not” being used to walking on a leash and has spent most of her life inside. But . . . now she's found that she really likes that "walking on a leash thing" and seeing the big wide world out there. Although Muffin isn’t one for sitting on your lap and cuddling just yet, for the majority of the time she is very timid - watching to see how things are done in this new house. She does show some diva behavior when it comes to her toys and treats, but she’s working on that with her foster mommy. She is in Cumberland, MD More about MuffinGood with Dogs Save A Yorkie Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) qualified non-profit organization operating on donations from Yorkie lovers who care. Please help by donating your tax deductible donations. OR mail your check or money order to YOUR generosity is appreciated! Young Yorkies will have a higher adoption donation since they are the most highly sought after and they help to cover the costs of the older dogs who have a harder time finding a loving home. It is sad but true that people overwhelming demand very young dogs when they would be infinitely happier with a mellow adult. ADOPTION AREA Save A Yorkie Rescue prefers to adopt only in the PA, NJ, western NY, DE, MD, VA, some CT area's. If you are in the NYC area or near Long Island, there is a Yorkie Rescue closer to you. |
