Giz Mo is available for adoption. He is 10 years old and weighs 10 lbs. His adoption fee is $300.00. Giz Mo is such a love and just wants to do everything right. The poor thing was surrendered to SAYR last Saturday and was dropped off in a carrier and I was told he stays in the "crate" during the night to sleep and during the day to rest. Well, we gave him a nice soft bed and a blanket and he has not even looked at the carrier again.
He has had to have dental surgery and lost 12 teeth. He also had to be neutered so they did them at the same time. He had the surgery on Monday and is already back to eating kibble and soft foods and is chewing with his back teeth. The vet told me his tongue would hang out but it doesn't. I am giving him antibiotics and he doing well. He is now up to date on all his medical needs and has been microchipped. Giz Mo had a bath before surgery but will need to wait for 2 weeks before he can get groomed. He is such a love! He's calm, not aggressive, eats well, uses the pee pad but prefers to go outside and he lets you know when he has to go. Giz Mo is staying with Diane, in Clifton, NJ. Save A Yorkie Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) qualified non-profit organization operating on donations from Yorkie lovers who care. Please help by donating your tax deductible donations. OR mail your check or money order to YOUR generosity is appreciated! Young Yorkies will have a higher adoption donation since they are the most highly sought after and they help to cover the costs of the older dogs who have a harder time finding a loving home. It is sad but true that people overwhelming demand very young dogs when they would be infinitely happier with a mellow adult. ADOPTION AREA Save A Yorkie Rescue prefers to adopt only in the PA, NJ, western NY, DE, MD, VA, some CT area's. If you are in the NYC area or near Long Island, there is a Yorkie Rescue closer to you. |
