Jelly Bean - what a cutie!!! She is now sporting the "Yorkie" puppy cut - she is absolutely adorable. YES, she gets along well with other dogs. She has befriended Bender (an 11 yr male Yorkie) She follows him around all the time. Of course, he is only 6 pounds and she is 18 lbs - so it is quite the scene. She is the boss of him. But he doesn't mind one bit. She gets along with the other dogs as well. She stands still for brushing. She shares her dog food and has taken over one of the stuffed animals. She carries it with her and sleeps with it at night - that is her binky in the picture. She sleeps on the floor, on a blanket. She is a wonderful dog. She has lots of energy and would love to help YOU get in shape this Spring. She will be a wonderful companion for some very lucky family. Jelly is larger than most Yorkies. Jelly has a natural, long tail and the lovely coloring of a Yorkie. This little girl will make a great dog for someone who knows Yorkies and wants a healthy little girl to train and love. Give this Jelly Bean a home for Easter! Young Yorkies will have a higher adoption donation since they are the most highly sought after and they help to cover the costs of the older dogs who have a harder time finding a loving home. It is sad but true that people overwhelming demand very young dogs when they would be infinitely happier with a mellow adult. If you are in the NYC area or near Long Island, there is a Yorkie Rescue closer to you. |
