Learn more about the Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie.
Have you EVER seen any little dog in such a pitiful state?! This dog came from an owner who cared but not enough. He is blind and deaf and yes, old. But deserving of better than to be let go like this. He has been cleaned up and is ready to go to a home where he can be loved for the rest of his days. He will never ask for much - some soft food, a tender touch, a warm bed and God will reward your kindness. And so will we - to those who love the rescue dogs and give a good home to such treasures as this old man, we give the choicest of dogs as they become available. These are the people we call when we have a puppy or little girl. It is a reward for being the kind of dog lover who gives the oldsters a chance for the golden years they have left. Call Marilyn at 610-670-2183 if you are able to help Muffin. Save A Yorkie Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) qualified non-profit organization operating on donations from Yorkie lovers who care. Young Yorkies will have a higher adoption donation since they are the most highly sought after and they help to cover the costs of the older dogs who have a harder time finding a loving home. It is sad but true that people overwhelming demand very young dogs when they would be infinitely happier with a mellow adult. ADOPTION AREA Save A Yorkie Rescue prefers to adopt only in the PA, NJ, western NY, DE, MD, VA, some CT area's. If you are in the NYC area or near Long Island, there is a Yorkie Rescue closer to you.
