Jesse - Just look at that adorable picture! People haven't been very kind to this little morsel. This little man has come along way. He follows his foster mom all around. He just loves his brother dog, Remy, and following him around the yard! But he hasn't been interested in other dogs, so no other dogs please. Jesse mastered the stairs this week, up AND down, although down took a bit more bravery on his part. He is a pro now.... And with every new day comes advancement...... This morning he started playing and chased a ball, brought it back too. His housetraining is excellent. He doesn't even have to be coaxed, he just trots out and runs to come back in when finished. He never met a child until today and he does not like them. This is typical of most Yorkies - not unusual at all. We are guessing he is about 6 lbs. Jesse is doing really well. He is playing full force now. Just loves chasing a ball and bringing it back and keeps very busy carrying the stuffed toys around the house. He and Remi play really well and love to roll about on the floor every morning. His foster mom says that he can be deemed "housebroken". What a love bug Jesse is. He welcomes cuddles now and is a very happy boy. He loves to romp in the yard with Remi. He wasn't real happy about the snow this morning! Jesse would do really well with dog classes. He is very smart and learns quickly. He is vacationing in Westampton, NJ with Brenda. Please help by donating your tax deductible donations. OR mail your check or money order to YOUR generosity is appreciated! Young Yorkies will have a higher adoption donation since they are the most highly sought after and they help to cover the costs of the older dogs who have a harder time finding a loving home. It is sad but true that people overwhelming demand very young dogs when they would be infinitely happier with a mellow adult. ADOPTION AREA Save A Yorkie Rescue prefers to adopt only in the PA, NJ, western NY, DE, MD, VA, some CT area's. If you are in the NYC area or near Long Island, there is a Yorkie Rescue closer to you. |
