Sheldon

Sheldon has his forever family, Ruth Gaw came on Saturday October 24th to see Sheldon. Sheldon greeted her and her son Bryan at the door with his tail wagging like a propeller! I think he heard me on the phone telling a friend he was going to be adopted today...and was so happy to meet Ruth! As we filled out our paperwork Sheldon jumped on the couch next to Ruth and Bryan...and stayed with them most of our visit. So it was love at first sight. Ruth is a retired RN...she cooks her own dog food and bakes her own treats for the dog. One bite of Ruth's home-made liver treats and Sheldon was ready to sign the adoption papers himself! He will be living in Delaware with a beautiful porch and fenced in backyard (he loves to run) but most of all, having a forever mom who will love and pamper him. Much love to the both of you!!! Lynda Claridy xxxxxxxx Congratulations Sheldon!!!

Archey

Linda and I are so excited to add to our pack with Archey. He is the perfect little Yorkie. He loves Linda and wants to be anywhere she is. And he loves our hikes in the woods and fields with my black lab, Kelsey. No matter what the situation, he fits in perfectly. Having lost so many dogs this summer to illness and old age, he is the perfect addition to fill the holes in our hearts and in our pack. We welcome Archey to our forever home and family! Congratulations Archey!!!

Rose

Vickie & Dan say Rose (Rosie) is doing so well and has adjusted into her new home.  Rosie has the status of being a DIVA!! Only problem, she takes out all her toys, but does not put them back.  LOL. Rosie is a true love and loves giving kisses and being in your lap.  Thank you Save a Yorkie Rescue for helping me find our little girl Rosie.  She is just so precious.  Congratulations Rose!!!

Bambino

Bambino Scores a Run with a Winning Forever Family Bambino, now officially BamBam, met his forever family on Saturday, October 17, 2020. Debbie and Fred arrived promptly at 11 AM and Debbie was prepared with toys and treats. What great toys she had for BamBam! He was immediately in love with this lady who brought him the best soft bunny and soft purple ball to play with AND got down on the floor to play. What Yorkie wouldn't be in heaven. After lots of play time, the treats were brought out and shared all around with our two dogs who had patiently looked on while BamBam stole the show. Then, it was time to walk off the treats and whatever energy was left. After a nice walk, we had a dental rinse demo and were all "minty fresh" as BamBam shook his head and shared the rinse with us! Following that adventure, the dogs took a snooze while the people reviewed the Adoption Agreement, looked at the contents of the SAYR tote and inspected different types of doggie jackets and coats Once all was finished, BamBam's blanket, bed and a toy or two were collected for the ride home to Maryland. Fred clipped the leash on BamBam and down the driveway he went without a backward glance. BamBam made the trip home with no problems even having a shopping trip detour at PetSmart on the way. He's reported to be carefully inspecting his new home and yard and shadowing Fred. We know he's going to be running the house in no time, getting lots of great play time and cuddling up with his new found forever family. Another contented SAYR Yorkie living the life with people who cared enough to Adopt not Shop. Congratulations Bambino!!!

Gabbie

Gabbie came into rescue with her sister when their owner suddenly passed away. Due to age and health issues, they became forever fosters and came to live with myself and my son. They were a bonded pair. Her sister, Gracie, was 2 years older and passed a year ago. Gabbie will be 16 this month. She is a happy girl with a spunky personality. We love her dearly. Although she is having spinal-neurological health problems, her heart and bloodwork are excellent. It became clear to us that we just had to be her real family. So we have failed at fostering once again, just in time for Gabbie's birthday! Happy Birthday, Gabbie! Congratulations Gabbie!!!
