Precious Stone From the moment this tiny bundle of fur was placed in my arms, I knew in my heart I would love him forever. However, I wanted to be fully committed to the fostering experience. I tried my best to steer my heart from his total adorableness. He immediately bonded with Jim. He became his little buddy but my two girls really did not like him. Especially his friendliness (humping) as Stone was not yet neutered but once they put him in his place they loved him too. Stone has really helped Maisy overcome some of her fears of people and other dogs. He loves everyone he meets ! He loves playing with Maisy in our big yard and going on walks. Seeing him fitting in here so perfectly I knew Stone was here to stay. So I am a complete and utter foster failure and very proud of it! We gave him a new name to go with his new family . Teddy suits him as he is as sweet and cuddly as a teddy bear. We are over the moon in love with him and we can not thank Save A Yorkie Rescue enough for not only giving us one but two sweet pups. We adopted Maisy in December.
Quincy In June of 2018 a little Yorkie named Quincy found himself in need of a home after his owner found herself in a situation where she couldnât keep him. She contacted Save a Yorkie to rehome him, but due to his age, at 13 years, felt he was unadoptable. So they accepted him and placed him with us as a forever foster. For the last two and a half years he has been a joy, and a true and loved member of our family as much as any of our other dogs. He is loved by everyone. Friends, family, and all the other dogs in our house. He is so sweet, friendly, happy, and full of life, and adds to the energy of our home much like a young puppy instead of a 15 year old. So Linda and I decided that we should take the next step and ask that he be formally included in our household, forever. Linda and I are thrilled to say that Quincy is now, formally and legally, a loved and adored member of our family. He always was loved and adored, but now itâs official. And we are so happy that it is! Congratulations Quincy!!!
Rocky Balboa Rocky Balboa has found his forever home in PA just like his namesake! The family drove 2 hours to meet Rocky. They spent quite a bit of time understanding his needs. They came prepared with treats and their daughter Alex was able to break the ice with Rocky. The best part about the meeting was Rocky's interaction with their dog Tucker. Their tails went up right away and both patiently waited for their turn to get yummy treats. The Leff's are experienced Yorkie owners and will go above and beyond to make their furry family members comfortable. I wish Andrea, Marty, Alex, Tucker, and Rocky Balboa all the best! On our end tears have not stopped since yesterday and we miss him terribly. Having Rocky in our home has been one of the most rewarding experiences and our home will never quite be the same. We look forward to getting plenty of updates and watching Rocky thrive in his furever home. Congratulations Rocky Balboa!!!
Lily Rose Little Miss Rosie just left for another big adventure, off to the city with her new Mom, Dad and brother, Benji! Now she can settle in to her forever home. On this rainy Friday, the rain stopped and the sun emerged just as Alexandra and Bill arrived. Bill jokingly said, as he got out of the car, âIt must be a sign!â I said, âI was thinking the same thing!â No tears on this end yet. Could be because we only had her 4 weeks instead of the usual 8-9 weeks. But I think, again, that it is such a good feeling when you know you have put your little pup into the hands of a person, or people, that you just know will be the best parents for your little one. Harlie and Henry are settling into a nice long nap right now. Congratulations to Alex, Bill, Benji and Rosie! Looking forward to hearing about new adventures, in the big city and beyond! Congratulations Lily Rose!!!
Nini Nini (soon to be known as Penny) was adopted by Caroline and Frances. She will join this wonderful family and be the youngest little lady with two older human brothers and one older lab brother, Mike. Penny will enjoy daily walks and playing at home with her new family. Another happy ending for one of our little Yorkies!! Congratulations Nini!!! Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
