Finneas Finneas came into Foster care as an 18 month old puppy from a Manhattan household that could no longer keep him. He had never been to a vet, so Save A Yorkie Rescue provided for all his vaccinations and his neutering. Then, after only three months in foster care and a clean bill of health, Finneas was adopted by the perfect loving family. Finneas will be living the good life right here in Connecticut with Bella, also a SAY Rescue. On his first day in his new home, a video shows him running around the house with Bella while carrying one of his favorite toys, a giant Lamb Chop (the Shari Lewis kind, not the eating kind!) Before he left his foster parents, he had conquered his separation anxiety and his poor potty habits. He'll need all the attention and exercise his new parents can give him and we're quite sure they will. (Hopefully, he'll sleep past 5am from now on!) While he will be terribly missed by his Foster Parents, we are sure that he will live a long and happy life in his forever home. Congratulations Finneas!!!
Vivian Vivian was adopted today by a wonderful couple from upstate New York. She immediately took to both her new mom and dad and was very curious about her new little sister Lulu. She has been a sweet little girl to have around for the last 6 weeks and we will miss her. Her adopters have had several Yorkies, some adopted from SAYR as foster failures when Lisa was a foster with SAYR. I feel very confident that these are the right parents for little Vivian and I am sure after she settles in that she will have a great life. Congratulations Vivian, Lisa, Doug and Lulu!!!
Wynter Wynter was definitely the hardest foster to let go .She was my first foster. We scheduled a Meet & Greet and everything was absolutely perfect.Wynter went right up to piper and gave her kisses.Wynter warmed up to Rachel right away.It was safe to say Rachel fell in love with her right away.I know in my heart this is a perfect home for her .She will always be in our hearts I will miss her everyday .Rachel has been sending pictures and updates all the time. Congratulations Rachel and Wynter!!!
Harper Harper was adopted this morning and is at this minute in the car on the way to his new home. I'm sure all of you who foster know how we are feeling today, deeply sad and extremely happy that Harper is headed with the right people to his new forever home. Harper will be living with Sarah Clemens and Neil Becker and Archie a 3-year-old Schnauzer poodle mix in Maplewood, New Jersey. In the past Sarah and Neil forever fostered two different elderly Yorkies, who understandably ignored Archie. This time around they wanted a playmate for Archie and they've got one! We tried to take a video of Harper and Archie chasing each other in the backyard but they ran way too fast. It looks like they're going to be great pup Brothers. Bon voyage, Harper! We will miss you. Congratulations Harper!!!
Luna Luna got to meet her new Mom and Dad today and it went very well. She went to them right away and I can see that she will enjoy playing with her new dad. They already sent me a video of him down on the floor playing with Luna. Luna is such a sweet little girl and it was a bittersweet day. We really enjoyed fostering her but we know that she is going to have a great life living in northern Virginia. They have a beautiful yard that they recently had fenced in for her and Iâm sure she will love playing in it. Congratulations to Deb, Bill and Luna!!! Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
